5 of the most visited attractions in Las Vegas

A trip to Las Vegas, the world’s entertainment capital, is a trip worth making due to the massive number of people, places, and activities that are guaranteed to provide a lifetime’s worth of great memories. Las Vegas is the second most popular tourist destination after New York City, with over 32 million visitors in 2021, up from 19 million in 2020 but down from 42 million prior to the pandemic.

Apart from being a famous world-class destination, Las Vegas has a lot to offer people of all ages. With world-renowned restaurants and hotels, amazing museums, spectacular shows, and interactive activities, Las Vegas has it all. Whether you’re visiting Sin City with your family or friends or simply looking for a fun place to hang out, these are the best Las Vegas spots for you to check out.

It won’t take you long to reach the Strip after you pass the famous “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign. Luxury resorts, world-class restaurants, vibrant nightclubs, and exciting casinos line this 2.5-mile stretch of Sin City that shimmers with glittering neon signs at night.

The Bellagio Resort in Las Vegas features a gallery, a conservatory and botanical gardens, a spa and salon, and some of the city’s best restaurants. The main draw is located along the Strip in front of the hotel. Visitors and passersby can admire the fountains as they dance to beautiful music.

Located approximately 17 miles west of the Las Vegas Strip, the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is Mother Nature’s majestic alternative to the glittering lights and cacophony of sounds in the Strip and Downtown Las Vegas. Take a scenic drive through the desert or hike or bike on the many trails that lead toward the canyons for a truly exciting experience. Whether you choose to explore the area by foot or by vehicle, you’ll be amazed by the stunning Mojave Desert and its famous red rock formations and cliffs.

Take a ride on The LINQ’s High Roller for a unique, bird’s-eye view of the Strip. It stands 550 feet tall and has a diameter of 520 feet, making it the largest observation wheel in North America. With 28 handcrafted glass pods that hold 40 people each, this massive Ferris wheel is truly a work of art. It takes about 30 minutes to go around the observation wheel, giving you plenty of time to take in the breathtaking scenery of Las Vegas.

Fremont Street, Nevada’s second most famous street after the Las Vegas Strip, is a five-block pedestrian-only road that’s popular for its “Viva Vision Light Show.” Known as the Fremont Street Experience, you can catch this visually spectacular music and light show that takes place above Fremont Street every night. Walk down the street and you’ll be surrounded by an array of LED lights that cast a spectacle of colors and patterns across the canopy. Other attractions here include the SlotZilla Zip Line and the Golden Nugget casino, as well as fine dining restaurants and entertainment venues in Downtown Las Vegas.
